It is to educate – doctors, cancer patients and the general public – on the best practices and latest advances in oncology. And it is to promote equal access to optimal cancer care for all patients.

CRSC Mission

  • Improve the quality of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, supportive and palliative care, as well as the follow-up of patients with malignant diseases
  • Advance the art, science, recognition, and practice of oncology
  • Disseminate knowledge to cancer patients and the public
  • Educate and train people involved in clinical cancer care and research
  • Ensure a high standard of qualification of medical oncologists within the multidisciplinary team
  • Promote equal access to optimal cancer care for all cancer patients

Welcome to the Cancer Research Studies Centre (CRSC) at Chennai. This cross-Faculty, interdisciplinary research centre has over 300 clinical and basic researchers from across the world that is committed to the highest quality of research excellence. Our mission is to develop new avenues for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer to relieve human suffering. To achieve this we are developing the highest quality clinical and basic science research programmes. The hallmark of our research programme is a close, collaborative interaction between clinical and laboratory research experts that ultimately enhances the quality and scope of our integrated basic and clinical research programmes in cancer as well as other diseases.
